Murder, the Boogeyman and the Headless Horseman all have one thing in common...they plague Murray Thompson's life.

Murray has been afraid of the Boogeyman since age eleven, and it has preoccupied his very soul into adulthood. Dr. Rosen, his lifelong psychiatrist and lifeline to the real world, has made every medical attempt to keep him within as normal a lifestyle as possible - until things that go bump in the night threaten to become Murray's worst nightmare and turn his life inside out.

All Hallows Eve brings all of these elements out into the light, leaving Murray to wonder whether he is just dreaming-- or are all these things happening to him in real life?
